Door County Wine Gift Delivery Tips
Cottages, resorts and B&Bs
For a guest at a resort, B&B or cottage rental, contact the front desk or host first to confirm someone can sign for an alcohol delivery, and include the guest's name and dates.
Seasonal homes
Many cottages are only used in summer. Confirm the recipient will be there to sign.
Washington Island
Deliveries to the island go by ferry and take longer. Confirm the street address and allow extra time.
Lake homes
Many lake homes are summer places, and wine can't be delivered to a boat or pier. Confirm the recipient will be there and use the street address.
Summer and fall weekends
Highways 42 and 57 are busy on summer and fall weekends. Midweek deliveries are easier.
Hospitals
Door County Medical Center may not accept alcohol for patients. Send to the recipient's home instead.
