Blacksburg Wine Gift Delivery Tips
College students
Most Virginia Tech students are under 21, and wine can only be delivered to someone 21 or older with ID. Wine gifts are better for faculty, staff, parents and graduates.
Hokie game days
Home games at Lane Stadium bring huge crowds. Weekday deliveries are much easier.
Hotels on big weekends
Hotels fill up for game weekends and graduation. Call the hotel first and include the guest's name and dates.
Winter weather
Snow and ice can shut down roads for a day or two. Order early in winter and pick a day when someone 21 or older will be home.
Apartments
Many residents rent apartments near campus. Include the unit number.
Hospitals
LewisGale Hospital Montgomery may not accept alcohol for patients. Send to the recipient's home instead.
