Newton Wine Gift Delivery Tips
Village addresses
Newton has 13 villages, and the village name may appear on the address. Use the exact street address and ZIP code.
Commuters
Many residents commute into Boston. Pick a day when someone will be home, or send it to their office.
Nor'easters and cold
Winter storms can slow deliveries, and freezing temperatures can damage wine left outside. From December through March, pick a day when someone can sign and bring it inside.
Marathon Monday
The Boston Marathon runs through Newton on Patriots' Day in April. Avoid that day.
Hospitals
Newton-Wellesley Hospital may not accept alcohol for patients. Send to the recipient's home instead.
College students
Most Boston College students are under 21, and wine can only be delivered to someone 21 or older with ID. Wine gifts are better for faculty, staff, parents and graduates.
